Dear Friends,
 Fasting and prayer increases your faith in God.
Instead of relying on your own 5 senses you begin
to move in rhythm with Christ Jesus, to be more
in step with God.
Believing this, Peter instigated 21 days of fasting
and praying to receive direction and clarity for
future steps. Within the process both of us kept
getting confirming words of coming back to America.
The pulling of the friends and desperate needs
here, the tugging of our own desires to be closer
to family and friends, the weighing of all the
facts and questions as to why now, prolonged our
uncertainty.
Desperate to know God’s will for our lives
we continued on. Towards the end of our fast the
direction became clear. Peter, solid as a rock,
became steady and absolute it was God’s will
to go to America. Later a confirming word came
through a brother in Christ who had absolutely
no idea of what we were praying about.
As thoughts battled back and forth in my mind,
I noticed a book on one of our shelves Good Morning
Holy Spirit. Responding, I said, "Hello Holy
Spirit", when peace flooded my entire being
and I heard the words, "Follow Me to America,
but be ready to go."
At that moment, it was clear God’s will
for our lives. The blessing of peace was such a
pleasant feeling, I barely acknowledged the words "but
be ready to go." Until later, it dawned on
me, the significance and meaning of those 5 little
words.
Both Peter and I are ready to settle down and
raise our growing family in a stable comfortable
environment. A home base in America with missions
abroad. I believe I could just dig in, in my mind
and emotions; Peter is a little more acclimated
to constant moving from place to place. Together
we should remain in a state of mind to be ready
to go, willing at the nudge of our Heavenly Father.
Although all our questions have not been answered,
uncertain of what our future holds, we humbly pray
and believe we will remain in rhythm with, following
Christ Jesus.
As soon as school is out and all the loose ends
tied here, we are returning to Florida. We estimate
sometime in December.
We want to give special thanks and appreciation
for your prayers, love and support these past 2 ½ years
to Missions of S.E. Asia together with the Mission
Trips to Thailand, Brazil and Taipei-China. This
has been a time of blessing. We have been trained,
equipped, and a part of God’s work.
May the all-powerful God supply all your need
according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
